PUNE: Members of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) staged a protest outside the Collector’s Office on Wednesday and demanded cases be lodged against people involved in corruption at the Siddhivinayak Temple.

HJS Pune Head Parag Gokhale said the trust members at Siddhivinayak Temple spent Rs 12 lakh for a study tour and Jalyukt Shivar programme which is not allowed. The members of HJS demanded recruitment of a doctor to monitor all hospitals coming under the charity commissioner.

Members of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindutavanishta Sanghatana supported the HJS. Gokhale said the government is fooling the people by announcing the decision of cancellation of Haj subsidy as it continues to exist.
