Housing society chairman booked for watchman's death

Pune: A housing society chairman has been booked by the Deccan Gymkhana police after the death of a watchman due to electrocution. 

The FIR has been registered against the chairman of Vrindavan Society for an offence under Section 304a (causing death due to negligence) of the Indian Penal Code. The deceased Khem Dan Vishwakarma's brother Dhanbahadur Vishwakarma has lodged the complaint. 

The incident took place on Friday between 6 am and 9 am.

Assistant Police Inspector Joshi is further investigating the case.
