HSC passed students receive mark sheets

PUNE: After the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results were declared last week, students flocked to their colleges to receive their mark sheets on Tuesday.

Around 25 students in Pune division have received prize money awarded for their excellent performance in particular subjects like Mathematics, Marathi, English, Sanskrit, Zoology, Chemistry and Physics by Maharashtra State Board Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE).

Among the 25, two students were from Pune, Ananya Angadi of PB Jog Junior College, Kothrud, and Anish Kaulgi of Dr Shamrao Kalmadi Junior College. They have each received prize money of Rs 1,000 for securing 200/200 in computer science.

“I received a cheque along with the marksheet for securing highest marks in Computer Science from the school. I was surprised a little and happy too. I want to pursue BTech in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),” said Anish Kaulgi, who scored 96.46 per cent in Science in Std XII, and got 152 out of 360 in IIT-JEE advance.

Mayuri Lunia of Guruvarya RP Sabnis Vidyamandir, Narayangaon in Junnar Taluka, received a total of Rs 4,100 prize money, so far the highest amount for excelling in Mathematics.
