PUNE: The final ideological battle will happen in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) National Organising Secretary Sunil Ambekar said on Sunday here in the city.

He was speaking at the inaugural session of ‘Words Count’, a festival of words, which has been hosted in Pune by Varsha Chordia and Sabina Sanghavi, renowned connoisseurs of literature and acknowledged aficionados of art and culture.

Ambekar said, “Professors in the JNU are misguiding students and working as activists rather than teachers and our final ideological battle will happen there.”

He said, “No government can provide government jobs for all. The government can only create a conducive environment and a support system for the people to create and receive lucrative opportunities.”
