IMD predicts rains for next 48 hrs

PUNE: With intermittent strong spells of the rain throughout the various parts of the city, India Meteorological Department (IMD) recorded 4 mm rainfall in the city on Wednesday. 

Similarly, the city will continue to get light to moderate rainfall for next 48 hours, according to the IMD. 

Meanwhile, Solapur received the highest rainfall on Wednesday with 58 mm of rain while Aurangabad received the lowest rainfall of three mm. Shivajinagar recorded rainfall of 4 mm on Wednesday while Lohegaon and Pashan received 13 mm and 23.4 mm respectively.

The IMD has predicted widespread rainfall for next 48 hours with heavy spells of rains in ghat sections.
