Pune: The Lashkar police, on Tuesday, registered cross non-cognisable (NC) offences against Dr Parvez Inamdar, son of educationist PA Inamdar, and Arif Gudakuwala, son of Muslim Co-operative Bank Director Azim Gudakuwala, for beating up each other.

Arif is a dental science student at Rangoonwalla College of Dental Sciences. According to the police, the incident took place around noon near the principal’s office. Arif had gone to collect his admit card, but the college administration refused on grounds that some fee is pending. There was an argument between the principal and Arif, who claims to have paid fees. Inamdar, who had come for a meeting, intervened and both he and Arif roughed up each other.
