Int’l conference inaugurated at Christ College

PUNE: An international multidisciplinary research conference on ‘New trends, issues, changes and challenges in commerce, management, economics and entrepreneurship’ was inaugurated at Christ College, Pune.

It was organised by the Christ College, in association with the MMCC, Pune and in collaboration with IBRF, Kolkata and CIU, New Delhi.

The conference was a platform to discuss and disseminate knowledge on the changing and challenging trends in the commerce and allied fields. 

Welcoming the guests, Dr (Fr) Sony Chundattu CMI, Director, Christ College, Pune, expressed his views on rediscovering and rethinking the responsibility of educational institutions to prepare individuals to become competent in the dynamic competitive world.

Eminent speakers shared their valuable inputs and insights on the changing and challenging trends and the importance of research in identifying and mitigating them to bring in required social, economic and business transformations. Many research scholars, academicians and students participated in the conference.

Expressing gratitude, Dr Tridip Bandopadyay, President, IBRF, urged the students to come up with ideas that they have in their minds as they hold the future of the nation. 

Dr Tapas Ranjan Saha, Director, IMS, Kolkata, Dr MD Lawrence, Principal of MMCC, Dr Aftab Anwar Shaikh, Principal, Poona College of Arts Science and Commerce, Dr Vivekananda Chakraborty, Dr Tanmoy Rudra, Executive Secretary, CIU, New Delhi were present.
