Pune: The Kasba Ganpati which is the presiding deity of Pune has decided to hold an e-waste collection drive during the Ganeshotsav.

Shrikant Shete, President of Kasba Ganpati Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal said, “The e-waste collection drive will be held at the utsav mandap itself from September 14 to 22.”

“The devotees could bring along their e-waste and dump it in the collection unit. It will be then given to MPCB. We will be also keeping buckets in some of the societies for e-waste collection,” Shete said.
