Pune: Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) has moved online for property tax collection from residents and business owners, by launching an online portal, which has been available since
October 12.

The portal has been built to ease the hassle of taxpayers, avoid waiting in long queues and also contribute to revenue generation.
The portal was inaugurated by KCB President Dhiraj Mohan. Mohan started the portal with the first entry of Vice-President of KCB, Abhay Sawant and other property holders.

“I request the public to avail the benefits of the facility provided through online payment of property tax,” said Mohan.

“There was an urgent necessity to undertake the initiative and move closer to digital payment method,” said Chief Executive Officer of KCB, Amol Jagtap. All elected members of the board were also present at the inauguration.

The online portal’s address is www.cbkhadki.org.in.
