Man booked for rape

Pune: A 44-year-old man has been booked by Hinjewadi police station for allegedly raping a woman at various five-star hotels in Mumbai, Pune and Lonavla, under the pretext of marriage, and then extorting Rs 6 lakh from her for not posting videos of the act on porn websites. 

The incident took place since September last year. The woman lodged an FIR on Tuesday. Police have charged the accused of offences under sections 376 (rape), 386 (extortion), 420 (cheating) under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
