Mask making contest organised at VPNBVM

Pune: Vidya Pratishthan’s New Bal Vikas Mandir, (VPNBVM) Pimpli, held an Inter-House mask making competition for the students of Std VIII A, B and C.

In all, 136 students participated in this competition. No specific topic or theme was given, so that children had the freedom of choice. They made a variety of masks designed as animals, birds, cartoons, Superman etc. The students brought the material needed such as paper, lace, kundan, feathers, leaves etc.

Huma Pathan won the first prize, Darshana Daundkar won the second prize, while the third prize went to Sai Ejagar and Janvi Tambe.
The Principal, KA Barawkar, congratulated the children on their efforts and creativity. The Art teacher, SD Kumbhar, trained the students for
this activity.
