PUNE: A 14-year-old boy from Sahakar Nagar had faked his own kidnapping as his father didn’t enrol him in a cricket academy. The boy had sent message to his father saying if he wanted his son to be alive, he should come to Vishakhapatnam. 

The man approached Sahakar Nagar police after getting the message from his wife’s phone.. A team was sent to Visakhapatnam, where the cops found the boy.  Police officials said that the boy had left home under pretext of going for tuition and also took away his mother’s phone. 

Fearing that he will be reprimanded, he faked his own kidnapping.
