Murder suspect arrested by Pimpri police

Pune: A murder suspect was arrested by the Pimpri police on Sunday from a spot near Rajeev Gandhi Colony in Pimpri. The arrested accused was later handed over to the Dehu Road police who booked him for murder. 

The accused was identified as Angat Kamble (32), a resident of Nehru Nagar in Pimpri. Kamble was on the run after committing a murder in the jurisdiction of Dehu Road police station. He was arrested after an informer tipped off the Pimpri police. 

According to the police, the tip-off was that Kamble was spotted near Ganpati temple near Rajeev Gandhi Colony.

The police laid a trap and arrested Kamble.
