Nakoda Jewellers Burgled of Rs 29.35 Lakh In The City

PUNE: Unidentified persons broke broke into a jewellery shop at Parihar Chowk in Aundh and decamped with cash and ornaments worth Rs 29.35 lakh in the wee hours of Thursday. 

Vijay Sonigra (52) of Nakoda Jewellers, located in Kumar Classic Society, Aundh, has lodged an FIR with Chatuhshrungi police station about the burglary.

According to the police, the incident took place around 3 am Thursday and whole act has been captured by the CCTV camera installed inside the shop. Four suspects with their faces covered with what appears to be handkerchiefs, are seen committing the theft. The thieves have stolen Rs two lakh cash, gold, silver and diamond ornaments, totally worth 
Rs 29.35 lakh.  

Senior Police Inspector Anil Shewale, in-charge of the police station, said that detection branch and Crime Branch staff are investigating the case. No arrest was made till late Thursday evening.
