NCC cadets celebrate Diwali with orphans and old women

Pune: The NCC cadets of 3MAH AIR SQN NCC at Rangehills Secondary School, Khadki celebrated Diwali with orphan children and old women of St John's Home for Women and Children, Guruwar Peth.

The cadets distributed Diwali sweets to them bought from the money saved from the washing allowance given to the students by 
the government.

The school ANO Chief Officer has been celebrating Diwali in this manner for the past 11 years.

Sujan Kadam, Coordinator of St John's Home for Women and Children and R Umapathy were present during 
the programme.

The event was carried out under the guidance of Commanding Officer, Wing Commander, CV Mahajan.
