Pune: Pune administration on Tuesday issued quarantine guidelines for those arriving from Middle-East or European countries. The decision comes after the new strain of coronavirus making its mark in number of European countries.

The Maharashtra government has also decided to impose a seven-hour night curfew in urban limits around the state from Tuesday for 15 days as a precautionary measure.

Here's what you need to know if you are arriving in Pune from Middle-East or European countries:

- It is mandatory for all the passengers arriving from Middle-East and European nations should to undergo institutional quarantine at their own expenses in the

nearby hotels for seven days.

-lf the passenger is reported symptomatic on arrival, then he or she will be admitted to Naidu Hospital.

-No RT-PCR test will be conducted on the areival. However, it will be

conducted during 5th to 7th day at the hotels.

-lf the report of the test is found negative, the passenger will be

discharged from the institutional quarantine.

If the test result is found positive but is asymptomatic then the passenger will be asked to stay in hotel.

-To ferry passengers from airport to hotel, city transport buss service (PMPML) will be available.

-The passports of all the passengers will be deposited with the hotel and

returned at the time of discharge from the hotel quarantine.

-These guidelines are applicable to all passengers arriving at pune International

Airport from Middle East and European Countries (lncluding transit

passengers) irrespective of their further travel plans, till further orders.
