Apart from drunk driving cases, police also seized 51 vehicles for other traffic violations. A total fine of ₹70,400 was collected during the drive.

The police said that similar night inspections were conducted daily between December 24 and 31 across all 30 traffic divisions in the city during the Christmas and New Year period. In these checks alone, 486 drivers were booked under Section 185 of the Motor Vehicles Act for driving after consuming alcohol.
