Ever since the COVID-19 crisis created havoc all over the city, people have been wishing the year to end soon. So now Puneities which were 'lockdowned' are bidding adieu to the year 2020 and one cannot be more happier than this.

Amid the COVID-19 scare, number of people visiting the party hotspot Goa is increased as compared to the last year, multiple tour agencies informed. After lockdown for nearly 10 months, people have also opted to visit nearest hotspots.

"Many were anxious during the lockdown and now to rejuvenate themselves, people have decided to visit some tourist places. Many are preferring to celebrate the New Year's eve at nearest tourist spots because the train, bus services are not back to normal," said Nilesh Gaikwad of Captain Nilesh Holidays.
