PUNE: To help students in rural areas with limited Internet access find their SSC results, four members of Eklavya Foundation have started an initiative whereby students can contact them and get their result conveyed over phone.

Samadhan Pable from Pune, Pranali Dorlikar from Mumbai, Gopal Gawande from Aurangabad and Ritesh Bobde from Yavatmal co-ordinated with around 200 students. “We created a poster about our initiative, giving our contact details in it and circulated it. We got many calls from anxious parents and students from all over Maharashtra,” Pable said.

Students were asked to provide relevant details and their result was checked by an Eklavya members. A similar initiative by them had helped 300 HSC students this year.
