Pune: On the occasion of Organ Donor Day, celebrated on April 12, Ruby Hall Clinic will conduct an ‘Umbrella Rally’ for awareness of organ donation followed by a special ceremony to felicitate families who were involved in the process of organ donation. The rally will proceed from Shaniwarwada at 5 pm and end at Balgandharva Rang Mandir. 

The event will be graced by Chief Guest Marathi actor Atul Parchure; guest of honour Ashok Morale, Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic), Pune; Bomi Bhote, CEO of Ruby Hall Clinic; Dr Purvez Grant, Managing Trustee of Ruby Hall Clinic; and Dr Sanjay Pathare, Medical Director of Ruby Hall Clinic. The event is organised in collaboration with Indian Medical Association (IMA) of Pune, Re-Birth, Lions Clubs International along with the Hope and Care Foundation.

Bhote said, “This event and awareness rally is a symbol of hope to honour each and everyone’s contribution to the lifesaving work of donation and transplantation. We also aim to bridge the gap between organ donors and the recipients through this drive.”
