Pune: Chairman and Managing Director of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) Tukaram Mundhe will now be holding additional charge of Pimpri Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA).

The move comes after the decision from the State government.

Earlier, Divisional Commissioner Chandrakant Dalvi was holding the position.

Now, Tukaram Mundhe will be looking after the developments of the PCNTDA.

Current challenges in PCNTDA include land transfer, regularisation of illegal structures and others.

Tukaram Mundhe did not respond to phone calls made by Sakal Times reporters.

 But he replied to a text message that he has not been transferred.
