Police arrest fraudster for duping woman

Pune: Officials of the Sahkarnagar police station has nabbed a fraudster Tushar Deshmukh involved in cheating a woman to the tune of Rs 14.7 lakh. 

The accused had introduced himself to the woman as a film producer and had assured a role to the victim in his film. Later the accused asked for Rs 10.7 lakh from the victim to invest in stocks and Rs 4 lakh to start his business. The victim lodged a complaint after the accused was not in contact and his phone was switched off. 

Sahakarnagar policemen including Police Sub Inspector K Jadhav nabbed the accused in Badlapur.
