Pune: A book ‘Praoudh Matimandache Prem va Jivhalache Navkshitij’, was released by Chairman of Sakal Pratap Pawar on Tuesday. The book, which is a biography of NGO Navkshitij which is working for mentally challenged people, is written by founder president Dr Neelima Desai.

Appreciating the book, Pawar said, “The book is a good guideline for similar institutes and society and the parents.”  

While Desai said, “The book represents the birth story, progress and journey of caring centre Navkshitij which has given love and affection to many mentally challenged people and a stress-free and happy life to their parents.”

Dr Chandrashekhar Desai, Chandrashekhar Potnis, Adv Sujata Kulkarni, Dr Anand Dixit, Sunil Kulkarni and Vasudha Divekar were present. On the occasion, NGO’s Amol, Aaditi, Abhijit and Manali presented a song on reaching goals. Similarly, a film on various activities of the institute was also screened.
