Protest against Koregaon-Bhima in London

PUNE: Three members of UK-based Ambedkarite Students Association, along with seven students studying in the UK, staged a protest on Friday condemning the attack against a specific community at Koregaon-Bhima on January 1 in front of India House, Aldwych, London. 

Saunvedan Aparanti, a student of law at the University of Law in UK, speaking to Sakal Times, said that the students submitted their petition to Indian High Commissioner YK Sinha. 

Aparanti said that the students demanded immediate arrest of Manohar Bhide and Milind Ekbote and release of persons arrested during combing operations carried out by the police in Maharashtra. Aparanti added that students also demanded justice for the victims of the violence.
