PSCDCL receives Best Smart City award

Pune: Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) was unanimously declared the winner in the Best Smart City Award Category. 

PSCDCL got the award in the recently concluded Smart Cities Expo-2019 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

The programme was conducted on May 22 to 24 in New Delhi. 

PSCDCL was declared the winner in the Best Smart City Award Category in the category of Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) company. It was declared joint winner along with South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

The jury, comprising several senior leaders from the government and private sector, acknowledged being made through  Pune Smart City Pune Idea Factory Foundation (PIFF), its subsidiary, to push the pedal on data and technology led innovation in partnership with leading institutions within India and outside.

Chief Knowledge Officer of Pune Smart City Manojit Bose received the award from Parameshwaran Iyer, Secretary (DWS), Government of India and Chief Guest for the awards ceremony.
 
Pune Smart City, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rajendra Jagtap said, “The awards are a recognition of the continuous efforts being made by Pune Smart City involving its citizens in various areas including being amongst the leading Smart Cities in India to drive data and technology led co-innovation initiatives.”
