Padmesh said, "The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Janakalyan Samiti has been involved in a number of projects being run by the PCMC. I took part in this relief work. I have worked with Chinchwad Police station and Talera hospital for a few days. We have also distributed the ayurvedic extract (Kadha) in the entire city. We distributed masks in Pune city for some days. I got connected through the PCMC Smart Sarathi app and have been working at the PCMC war room since June."

"When Prime Minister Narendra Modi said 'Young India', I thought 'If it is not me, then who?' With this thought and a sense of duty towards our country, I started volunteering. We owe so much to our society and this is a time to work for it. Today one must help carefully in order to alleviate the crisis in the city and help restore normalcy," he said.

Padmesh Kulkarni further added, "Covid-19 outbreak led to lockdown in the city. Since then, all government agencies and employees have been working day and night to curb this epidemic. However, the rapid spread of the coronavirus infection has put a strain on the entire system. I wanted to help them and thus I volunteered to work in the war room."
