Pune builder D.S. Kulkarni charged with Rs. 2043 cr scam

Pune: Well known Pune-based real estate baron D.S. Kulkarni has been charged by the Economic Offence Wing of Pune police for committing a scam worth Rs.2014 crores. 

A chargesheet was filed in a Pune court on Wednesday afternoon which framed charges against DSK and his wife. 

The 37,000 page chargsheet mentioning DSK fraud of 2043 crores was submitted in court of J.T. Utpat by the sleuths of Economic Offences Wing here on Thursday.

Thirteen accused have been detected in the case and six have been arrested including DSK and his wife.

Beside this, the role of top six nationalised banks is under scanner for a series of irregularities and violation of RBI guidelines.
