Aryan Salve, originally from Satana in Nashik district, had recently moved to Pune in search of employment. He was staying with his maternal uncle in Ambegaon Pathar, Dhankawadi, and was working at a local hair salon. The accused, 30-year-old Dhairyashil More, is a resident of Sai Siddhi Chowk, the very spot where the incident occurred.

According to the investigation, a seemingly trivial argument broke out between the two at the paan stall, which quickly escalated into violence. Without warning, More attacked Salve with a machete, leading to his death on the spot. There is no confirmed motive yet, and the police are investigating whether there was any prior enmity between the two individuals.

Inspector Rahulkumar Khilare from Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station stated that the incident stemmed from a sudden, minor disagreement. The police are currently looking into the possibility of any past rivalry or tension between the victim and the accused.

Following the incident, police acted swiftly and arrested Dhairyashil More. The case is being investigated further by Sub-Inspector Priyanka Nikam, who is leading the inquiry into the matter.
