Pune: Ex-wife manhandled by divorced doctor with the help of his brother

Pune: A divorced man along with his brother, forcefully entered his ex-wife's house and sexually abused her after she refused to oblige to his demand of wanting to physically indulge with her. She had objected to their inappropriate and violative gestures and raised an alarm.

The disturbing incident came to light after the 36-year-old victim lodged a First Information Report (FIR) criminal complaint with Bhosari police station which falls under the jurisdiction of Pimpri-Chinchwad commissionerate. She filed a complaint against her husband, his brother, and his parents.

According to the police, "The incident took place on Friday evening around 7 pm at the victim house, when her ex-husband and his brother forcefully entered her house and started abusing her. They threatened her and her ex-husband raped her. He also tried to manhandle her in an unnatural way. The man's brother was helping him commit the crime."

Police sub-inspector P D Gaikwad of Bhosari police station who is investigating the case, said, "We are investigating the case and have registered it under the relevant sections of Indian Penal Code comprising of 376 B, 377, 354 and 452."
