Pune: You must have read the incidents of ATM robbery, automobile theft and other robberies but we bet you must have never heard about this theft. An entire bus stop was stolen in Pune city! Yes, you read it right, a PMPML (Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited) bus stop was stolen a few days back in the city and now if someone finds it will be rewarded with Rs 5,000 cash.

One of the social media users initially posted a photograph of a notification at a bus stop, which seeks to find ‘thieves’ (not officially confirmed) who stole it!

The poster was issued by a local leader Prashant (Anna) Mhaske. Here is the translation of the poster: 'The bus stop in front of BT Kavde Devaki Police Station has been stolen. If anyone finds it or has any information about it, please get connected and you will be awarded by Rs 5,000 cash.’

The image went viral on social media. One user gave in an update saying, 'So I asked a couple of street vendors about it. They said nothing like this happened in daylight. Although they are not sure who took it. Point being there was a bus stop there earlier and someone definitely "stole" it. It could be Pune Mahanagar Parivahan'.

Another user on Twitter said, “8 months back same way opposite Mount Carmel Convent School Lullanagar, happened.”

The funny incident has left people puzzled and in ruptures. Locals also suspect that the thieves may have stolen it to sell the parts of the bus stop as scrap.
