A massive fire erupted early Tuesday morning in Pune’s bustling Sadashiv Peth neighborhood, sending residents into panic. According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) officials, the blaze began on the terrace of the Ramesh Dyeing building, a multi-story structure located in one of the area’s older and densely populated localities. According to early reports, the fire rapidly escalated within minutes, resulting in the complete destruction of materials on the top floor.

The fire broke out today around 12:15 PM at the famous Ramesh Dyeing shop located in Sadashiv Peth. The blaze started on the top floor where the shop’s warehouse is located, resulting in the complete destruction of the store’s inventory.

This well-known shop supplies essential items for school students, as well as raincoats and jackets. Fortunately, none of the shop’s employees were harmed in the incident. Firefighters deployed five to six fire engines to control the fire, but due to the building’s size, thick smoke spread across the entire area.

Firefighters from the PMC Fire Department rushed to the scene with four fire engines, but efforts to contain the flames have been complicated by the narrow lanes and tightly packed buildings in the vicinity. Authorities are working diligently to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures and to ensure the safety of residents and shopkeepers in the area.

Officials have urged people to avoid the area and follow safety instructions while the operation continues. This is a developing story, and more details are awaited.
