Pune NDRF closely monitoring Mumbai situation, teams on standby

Pune: After deploying three teams of National Disaster Response Force to Mumbai on Tuesday morning, the Pune-based 5th Battalion of NDRF has deployed five more teams to standby for flood relief operations in Mumbai on Tuesday evening.

The teams are equipped with all necessary flood relief equipment and will swing into action if the conditions in Mumbai worsen.
