Pune Grand Tour: Here’s What Traffic Changes and Guidelines the Administration Has Announced.

Pune Grand Tour: Pune police have announced traffic diversions and road closures for Stage 2 of the Bajaj Pune Grand Tour, scheduled for January 21. The race, which began on January 19 with an eight-kilometre prologue through Pune city, will continue across multiple routes, prompting authorities to implement traffic management plans to ease congestion and ensure rider safety.

The Bajaj Pune Grand Tour Stage-2 route will be closed to traffic on January 21st from 9 am to 6 pm as necessary. Traffic will be rerouted to alternative paths accordingly.

The cyclists participating in the Pune Grand Tour International Cycling Championship will ride through various routes in Rajgad and Bhor talukas during the second leg of the event on Wednesday, January 21. To ensure the competition proceeds smoothly and without incident, District Collector Jitendra Dudi has announced traffic changes and ordered the temporary closure of certain routes.

Furthermore, during the second phase of the competition, major traffic changes will be implemented in Rajgad and Bhor talukas from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on January 21. The district administration has urged drivers traveling along these routes to use the Pabeghat route or the alternative route via Panshet–Kuran Budruk–Kadve Khin to reach Pune on the day of the event. All traffic routes will be reopened once the competition concludes.
