Pune: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has decided to operate e-buses on select 11 routes including Hadapsar to Hinjawadi Maan Phase 3, Nigdi to Wagholi and Nigdi to Hinjawadi Phase 3 at a frequency of 60, 50 and 40 minutes frequency respectively. This service will start from December 25 and the fares will remain the same as the existing.

This special arrangement has been made for the first time in Pune city. It is being conducted on a trial basis for existing 11 long distance routes. These buses will have only selected stops along the route in order to minimise the journey time, improve the speed of the bus and allow the passenger to reach the destination in lesser time.
