Pune: The Pune Police Commissioner is winning hearts of millions for his sensible reply to an innocent query asked to him during a live interaction on Twitter on Monday.

Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta on Monday participated in Twitter session as a part of #LetsTalkCPPuneCity initiative. During the live interaction with many, one of the users requested the top cop to ‘do something’ to persuade his friend to accept his proposal of love.

While replying, Gupta’s thoughtful response won huge respect. Gupta told the user that without the girl’s approval he couldn’t be of any help and guided the man not to do anything against her will.

The original Tweet with the question was deleted by the user. Gupta replied to the tweet by saying, “Unfortunately, without her consent, even we can’t be of any help. Nor should you do anything against her will. And if she does agree some day, you have our best wishes and blessings. #ANoMeansNo #LetsTalkCPPuneCity @PuneCityPolice.”

Reacting to the answer one of the user wrote, “a bit of personal touch from the singhams ! proves that they too are humans with a heartTwo heartsFlag of India response is appreciated.”

The Twitter session lasted for one hour where Amitabh Gupta also replied to a multiple questions of Punekars ranging from women’s safety, violations of rules, women safety and more.
