According to police, the accused gradually developed a romantic relationship with the woman, assuring her that he would soon help her secure work in the film industry. Based on these promises, the two entered into a consensual relationship over a period of time.

However, despite repeated assurances, the accused failed to provide any opportunity in films. As months passed, the woman realized she had been misled and deceived under false promises.

Pune Police further revealed that during their relationship, the accused had recorded objectionable photos and videos of the woman. He later circulated this content through WhatsApp and other social media platforms, leading to her defamation and severe emotional distress.

Following the incident, the victim approached Narhe Police Station and filed a complaint on April 18. A case has been registered against the accused, and Senior Police Inspector Asaram Shete is currently leading the investigation into the matter.
