Rs 23.95 lakh looted from petrol pump staff

Pune: Rs 23.95 lakhs in cash was looted from employees of a petrol pump in Pune on Monday.

Two employees of Bharat petrol pump in Katraj were carrying the cash in two bags. Four unidentified persons on two bikes intercepted them just 200 meters from their petrol pump.

The robbers attacked the duo choppers and snatched away the bags. One of the employees has sustained minor injuries and is admitted in a private hospital.

Officials from Crime Branch and Bharati Vidyapeeth police station of Pune city police are investigating the case. The robbers are said to be between age groups of 25 to years.
