PUNE: The deadline for submission of entries for the ‘Sakal Travel Photographer of the Year 2020’, brought to you by the Sakal Media Group and Travelor.in, has been extended to January 18 because of the overwhelming response from budding travel photographers.

Another contest, ‘Vlogger of the Year’ will also be held in which travel vloggers can participate. To participate, vloggers should send an email to travel@esakal.com with the vlog link and contact details. Interested photographers can submit their entries in four categories -- Landscape, Street and People, Dawn to Dusk and Structures.

For submitting a photo as an entry, participants need to go to the link -- travel.esakal.com, where all the rules of the competition are mentioned. Details can be filled in the form on the link and entries following all the rules will be accepted for the contest.

The best photographs and vlogs will be displayed at a photo exhibition at Sakal Holiday Carnival 2020, powered by Girikand Travels with MFW as an associate sponsor at Pandit Farms in Karve Nagar from January 24-26.

More than 40 travel firms are participating in this carnival in which a panel of experts will also answer questions related to travel. The top 13 entries will be felicitated.
