PUNE: The exciting award night ‘Sakal Premier Awards’ 2019 organised by Sakal on Thursday, welcomed renowned names from the Marathi film industry.
The event took place at Amanora, The Fern. The show was hosted by Pushkar Shrotri, Meghana Erande, Yogesh Deshpande and Apurva Modak. The event saw the presence of eminent Marathi cine stars like Prarthana Behere, Swapnil Joshi, Amruta Khanvilkar, Lalit Prabhakar, Siddharth Jadhav, Mahesh Manjrekar and writer Kshitij Patwardhan,and Zee Studios Business Head Mangesh Kulkarni.
The audience was thrilled with the power-packed dance performances by Radha Sagar, Pallavi Patil and Namrata Gaikwad. The artistes who ruled the screen this year were presented with the awards for their exceptional performances.

- Premier Best Child Actor - Aryan Menghji for Baba and Adarsh Kadam for Khari Biscuit.
- Adarsh Shinde won the Premier Best Playback Singer (Male) for ‘Tula Japnar Aahe’ from Khari Biscuit and Ketaki Motegaonkar and Sharayu Date won the Best Playback Singer (Female) for the song ‘Ranga Maliyela’ from Anandi Gopal.
