Saurabh Rao is next city commissioner

Pune: Pune Collector Saurav Rao has been appointed as the Pune Municipal Commissioner on Monday.

After his predecessor Kunal Kumar twas ransferred to Delhi, the State government appointed Rao as Municipal commissioner. Rao will be succeded by Aurangabad Collector Naval-Kishor Ram as the Collector of Pune.

Rao has completed more than three years as district collector.He will take charge of Municipal Commissioner on Tuesday. Right now, Additional Municipal Commissioner Sheetal Teli-Ugale is handling charge of commissioner.
