Senior citizen loses bag containing Rs 4.23 lakh

PUNE: A  senior citizen lost Rs 4.23 lakh after an unidentified thief stole a bag containing cash from his car on Tuesday evening near Pune Municipal Corporation Bhavan gate. The complainant Ranganath Ghodke (64) had left the bag containing cash in his car and his driver was present in the car. 

An unidentified person approached Ghodke’s driver and told him that there is less air in the car’s rear tyres. The thief diverted the driver’s attention and then stole the bag. A case of theft has been lodged at Vishrambaug Wada police station.
