Pune: Senior media consultant and blogger Dr Sanjay Savarkar (58) died due to cardiac arrest on Monday.

He was admitted to a private hospital after he complained of chest pain, but he died during the treatment. He was an expert in the marketing field and also had written a book on it.

He recently received a doctorate degree. 

He had worked in various media houses including Sakal Media Group on various positions.
