Shirdi airport will now be connected with 10 more cities

Pune: The Shirdi airport will now be connected with 10 more cities in the country. SpiceJet has started its services for Shirdi and now a total of 20 aircraft will arrive and depart from the Shirdi airport.

Now, it will have flights from Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Bangalore, and a flight from Chennai to Shirdi will start from January 10.

“The Shirdi airport is getting four new flights from Tuesday. Shirdi will now be connected to Jaipur, Bhopal, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. We will be connected to Chennai from January 10. All the new flights are being operated by SpiceJet. There is an additional flight to Hyderabad on Tuesday and Sunday,” said Deepak Shastri, Director, Shirdi airport.

On October 1, 2017, the airport was inaugurated by President Ram Nath Kovind.
