PUNE: A new website called www.LawSkills.in which was launched last week will provide certification learning on various legal and professional subjects and skills.

The online law studies portal will be available in multilingual that includes Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada by Manupatra, India.

Speaking on the launch of website, Deepak Kapoor, CEO of the company said, “The rationale for setting up this venture is to act as a catalyst and bridges the gap between legal education and profession to create opportunities for young lawyers, legal practitioners, professionals, students and people at large. After graduating in law from colleges and schools, students aren’t really equipped enough to step into the legal world with confidence. Our aim is to build a constructive ecosystem of industry practitioners and learners to make learning easy, interesting, affordable and accessible to millions across geographies.”

The courses have been specially designed and developed by leading practitioners and experienced professionals, in their respective field and subject, with each course having a strong theoretical foundation supplemented with practical and professional inputs. Such as, course on ‘environment’ by Enviro Legal Defense Firm (ELDF), ‘competition laws’ by Vijay Aggarwal, Senior Attorney of Advaita Legal and the team at Seth Dua and Associates (now Advaita Legal), sports law by Shivam Singh, sports law specialist, contracts law by Garima Tiwari, assistant professor at Bennett University.

It is structured in a modular format with an add-on facility with audio-visual tools to facilitate learning.
