PUNE: St Mary’s Church Nursery School had recently held annual Physical Training (PT) display and sports day at the school.

The theme for the event was sports and games. It began with a march past with the students marching to the beat of the drums, followed by drills with children in their sports outfits, performing exercises using pom poms, paddles, ribbons, dumbbells and hula hoops.

The children demonstrated the karate exercises that they learnt during the year. The children used a variety of sports equipment such as badminton rackets, footballs, frisbees, hula hoops, cricket bats and hockey sticks in innovative races as they raced to the finish line.

The chief guest for the event was Mrudula Mahajan, Principal of Dr DY Patil School, Pimpri, who lauded the efforts of students and the staff. Headmistress, Esther Lobo, appreciated everyone present at the event.
