Suhas Merchant elected as CREDAI Pune Metro President

Pune: Suhas Merchant was unanimously elected President of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) - Pune Metro for 2019-20. He took over charge from Shrikant Paranjape during a function held in the city on Tuesday. 

CREDAI National President Satish Magar,  CREDAI National Vice-President Shantilal Kataria and CREDAI Maharashtra President Rajiv Parikh were present along with Kumar Gera and Ramkumar Rathi, founders of CREDAI.

Merchant, an engineer by profession has done MTech from the IIT, Powai. He brings with him 45 years of experience in RCC design, construction, estimation, architectural design, project management, material purchase, liaison, legal, marketing and business development. He has worked in the Middle East, Iraq, South Africa and other countries. 

Among the other elected office-bearers are Rohit Gera, Anil Pharande, Ranjit Naiknavare, Kishor Pate, Manish Jain and Amar Manjrekar, all Vice-Presidents, Aditya Javdekar as Secretary, IP Inamdar as Treasurer and Ashwin Trimal as Joint-Secretary.
