Talent contest for autistic children to be held in city

PIMPRI: Light Up Lives, a talent contest organised for underprivileged autistic children who lack the facilities and wherewithal to showcase or hone intrinsic talents, will be held on Friday. 

Organised by Secure Giving, in aid of Concern India Foundation, the event is also supported by SAAD, Prism Foundation, Dawn School, Dilhasa Kendra, Bal Kalyan Sanstha, Prasanna Autistic Centre, Credit Suisse and Round Table.  

The event is structured as a half-day programme, where talent exposure activities like singing, instrumental music and group dance will be held. The event will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Hall, Ghole Road, from 12 pm to 3 pm.
