Traffic warden killed in mishap

PUNE: A traffic warden who was working with MahaMetro to regulate traffic on Vanaaz-Ramwadi metro stretch was killed in an accident after he was hit by a speeding truck on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Siddharth Kamble (35).

MahaMetro General Manager Hemant Sonawane said Kamble was crossing the road near AISSMS College on Raja Bahadur Mills Road, near Pune railway station, when he was hit by the truck. “Kamble was on leave and had come to the site for his personal work,” added Sonawane.
