Pune: The Central Railway has started revamping old infrastructure between Pune and Lonavla section and Pune-Solapur route.
An integrated block will be taken by the Railways administration between Lonavla and Pune junction from October 1 to 31, in which many technical works of engineering, signalling and OHE will be done. This work is mandatory for safe travel of passengers. As a result, two local trains of Pune-Lonavla division will be affected.
As per information shared by Railways, train number 99818 Pune-Lonavla, which departs at 1 pm from Pune, and 99813 Lonavla-Pune, which departs from Lonavla at 2 pm, will be cancelled.
A technical block will be conducted in the Solapur division. Train number 51421/22 Pune-Nizamabad-Pune will be cancelled for three months. Similarly, train number 51034/33 Shirdi-Mumbai-Shirdi passenger will be cancelled between Daund and Shirdi.
