TRTI declares candidates’ names for UPSC coaching

PUNE: The Tribal Research and Training Institute (TRTI), Pune, has declared the names of selected candidates for UPSC coaching programme for the academic year 2018-19. Admissions for the said programme will be held from June 8 to June 18. The candidates need to process their admission at competitive examinations centre in Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) from June 8 to June 13.

A total of 880 students had appeared for the competitive entrance test against 75 seats for UPSC coaching programmes conducted by the SPPU. Candidates can check their names and further details related to admission procedures on the university website unipune.ac.in.

The seats remaining vacant will be offered to wait-listed candidates as per the merit list and candidates not taking admission will not have any right whatsoever on the seat. No separate communication regarding the admission will be done with any of the candidates. 

The university has also directed that in case any selected candidate is not interested to take admission to the centre, he/she must convey this in writing to the Director of Competitive Examinations Centre, SPPU, latest by June 10, on email (cec@unipune.ac.in) so that the next eligible candidate as per the wait list can be given the admission. 

The TRTI undertakes research studies on various aspects of tribals. It also does evaluation studies in order to assess the impact of developmental programmes/ schemes on the life of the tribal people in the State. It also conducts special training programmes for tribal youths who appear for MPSC, UPSC and other competitive examinations.
